The Justice Family

By rebeccablock

In honor of NOT having to continue with jury duty on a murder trial (everybody say YAYYYYYYY!) I worked really really hard and edited a lot of pictures from Saturday’s photo shoot, to make up for the fact that I was really busy last week and then spent nine hours sitting in a courtroom next to Loud-Breathing-Gum-Smacking Guy, getting asked redundant questions by lawyers and trying to figure a way out of jury duty. The case was for a guy accused of murder!! I definitely did not want to be on that jury, for a number of reasons. Suffice it to say, all I could say was “Thank you, God!!” when my name was not one of the twelve finally called by the judge at 6pm on Monday.

Also, the fact that Celeste was eager to see the pictures after I posted Ross and Nicholette’s helped to motivate me to blog them earlier than normal. We had a lot of fun with the Justices! They have some of the sweetest kids I have ever met (seriously, super nice kids, and I have been around enough kids to be able to say that!). I scored some uber cuteness, like big smiley hugs from Elle and Luke wanting to hold my hand at one point. It was so cute! I guess he decided he liked me enough to hold my hand?) Anyway, enough talk. Here are the pictures, and as always, they look way better in hi-res so don’t judge my skill on small pictures. Also, feel free to comment and show your friends.

Feather!

Yay! Hills!

The pinks in this background worked out nicely with Celeste’s dress. She looks really pretty with her hair blowing, too.

Aww…..

This one turned out nice, even with the little Wiggly Worms. ;-)

You should see the bigger version of this picture…this kid has pure joy on his face to be upside down on Daddy’s back!

This is one of my favorite little-kid things to watch — the whole-hand-because-I-haven’t-figured-out-I-have-fingernails rub. It tops my list with toddler hugs, entrancement with little details, preschooler watercolors, and baby sneezes. (Don’t take that the wrong way – I’m not wishing for kids to be sick, but they just sound so teeny and cute!)

I like the way the light came out on this one, with the contrasting shadows and bright area. It’s like they are coming out of the woods! (They sorta were.)

El Fin!
