The Neill Family
ByHolly, Eric, and Leif came down to our house for this fun little photo shoot as part of our Fall portrait & Christmas card special. We met Holly when I was 9 months pregnant, when Matt did a one-mile swim at Moonshine Beach in Branson. Holly was coordinating the event & we let her know about the photos I had taken while Matt swam. Well, one thing led to another, and the next thing you know, we are taking their family pictures! Leif is a little over 1 year old and only the second little boy we have ever shot! (Doesn’t that phrase sound terrible??) For some reason we have had a ton of little girls, but Patrick and Leif have been our only boys. So it was a nice change! Here are a few from their session, full of beautiful fall color!
Ok, these are kind of “outtakes” when we attempted to get Leif to lay in the leaves next to Mom and Dad. (Nice face, Eric.) In the second one, you can see Grandma’s hand and part of Mr. Foxy (I can’t remember his name!) attempting to rescue the shot, but to no avail. But I love it anyway!
And finally, here’s a new Christmas card design. I was inspired by some cool Osage oranges Holly brought along, and some fall foliage in our yard. I love designing cards!
