Lindze, Landon, and Koah’s Maternity session!

How did I get so lucky as to have such good-lookin’ people up on my blog…not once, but twice!  I don’t know….but I’ll take it!    We shot Lindze and Landon’s wedding last year in January, and now Baby Koah is due, like, *anydaynow*.  Isn’t that a sweet name?  It’s Hawaiian (“Koa”), with an H so it wouldn’t be like Kampgrounds Across America.  lol…and I believe it is also the name of a pro surfer.  Lindze and Landon went surfing in California a few years ago and loved it.  So there you go; it became their baby boy’s name!

I went out to their house to get these shots.  They had great light and lots to work with.  As I told them, it’s great for them because they don’t have to go anywhere, they end up feeling more comfortable, and it’s just more personal and memorable.  (And it’s great for me because I get to play with new backgrounds!)  Well, Lindze is, as you can plaunly see, absolutely gorgeous in every picture I’ve ever taken of her.  She makes my camera look good, lol!    And Landon said he wasn’t sure what to do at first, but I think he looks pretty relaxed.  I try to remind our clients during shoots to “just get comfortable” (I say that a lot), and the pictures will end up looking great if they just do their thing.  So I think he pulled it off pretty well, don’t you?
