Valentine Designs
Posted by: | CommentsI had a few requests for Valentine’s Day cards, so here’s one I made this morning. I gotta run, but I’ll try to post more soon!
(The gray is where the picture goes and the red box is for your message. Colors can be adjusted! Looks cute in pinks, too.)

Here is a cute heart one:

And a fun, bright one:

Pure Captures is still booking for Valentine’s Day! Book your session by February 6th in order to receive pictures or cards for your sweetie. Order a set of one of these designs with your child’s photo for the class Valentine’s Day party! Twenty-four 4×6 photographic cards are $24 – including envelopes! (Additional cards are available.) These will totally knock the socks off those boring cartoon character cards that everyone else will be handing out.
Another Christmas Card Design!
Posted by: | CommentsI kept this one simple but classy! Here it is featuring one of the Faucett family’s Christmas photos. 3 boys and a girl kept me on my toes the whole time! We climbed trees, haybales, fences, and jumped in leaves – so much fun! It reminded me of playing in the leaves when I was little. I look forward to getting to do that again with my own baby in a few years!

The Neill Family
Posted by: | CommentsHolly, Eric, and Leif came down to our house for this fun little photo shoot as part of our Fall portrait & Christmas card special. We met Holly when I was 9 months pregnant, when Matt did a one-mile swim at Moonshine Beach in Branson. Holly was coordinating the event & we let her know about the photos I had taken while Matt swam. Well, one thing led to another, and the next thing you know, we are taking their family pictures! Leif is a little over 1 year old and only the second little boy we have ever shot! (Doesn’t that phrase sound terrible??) For some reason we have had a ton of little girls, but Patrick and Leif have been our only boys. So it was a nice change! Here are a few from their session, full of beautiful fall color!

Ok, these are kind of “outtakes” when we attempted to get Leif to lay in the leaves next to Mom and Dad. (Nice face, Eric.) In the second one, you can see Grandma’s hand and part of Mr. Foxy (I can’t remember his name!) attempting to rescue the shot, but to no avail. But I love it anyway!
And finally, here’s a new Christmas card design. I was inspired by some cool Osage oranges Holly brought along, and some fall foliage in our yard. I love designing cards!

A Winter Card
Posted by: | Commentshehe, I couldn’t resist. Here is a card for the Winter family! Stacey was my RA my freshman year of college, and now she is married and has two little ones. What a beautiful family! Isabel could be a model with all those deep, intense stares, and her baby brother Chris is just about the smiliest baby I’ve ever seen. What a couple of cuties! I’ll post pics from their session in Kansas City later…Kaldi’s is closing on me right now!

Jwaye Noel!

We hope you are all enjoying the day with family, or if not, you will be soon!
Here’s our own Christmas card!

Hot off the Press: Modern Blocks card design
Posted by: | CommentsI was inspired to create this little set this afternoon. It’s very modern and fun. I can easily change it to match your color scheme; just a few examples are here. I really like the red, white, and black scheme. This card can be used for wedding announcements, save the date cards, birthday party invitations or pictures, or birth announcements. It is designed in a 5×7 format, but I can resize it to a 5×5 or a 4×5 if you prefer either of those. And of course, each set of cards comes with envelopes!
By the way, the gray squares within the designs are placeholders for your photos. The front of the card is one big photo with some of the block design, while the back has the information on it along with a smaller photo. Technically this isn’t off the press [yet], but I would love to see it in print for someone out there! Let me know if you’d like to use this for one of your cards!
